Wednesday June 30th, 2004

Today we walked..walked-around the rim trail of the Grand Canyon. All in all it was around 7 miles in blistering 100+ degree heat. I managed to get a deeper tan/sunburn.
When we got back to the hotel...there was a gunfight going on in the street!

Today we got up at 7:30 to head to the Hoover dam. After touring the dam we headed to the Grand Canyon.

Monday June 28th 2004

My uncle picked us up at 2:00 p.m. to go to the airport. After arriving and checking in we discovered that our flight to Dallas/Fort Worth had been delayed 2 hours (as well as all outbound DFW flights. Finally after a LONG wait we flew out at 5:50. Our cruising altitude on the first flight was 28,000 feet. We landed at DFW approximately 8:00.
We checked in there and found that our DFW to Las Vegas flight was delayed another 2 hours:( That plane took off at 10:31 and its maximum altitude was 45,000 feet.
By the time we got to bed that night it was 3:30AM.

Vacation!!!

We leave tommorrow for our trip out west:) We will be visiting Arizona, California, and Nevada within 10 days.
I'm going to try to upload some pictures when I can. I highly doubt I'll have internet access every day, but when I do, I will update.
